Lower Fee Policy Agreement

Dr. Renye is committed to making her services accessible to individuals with diverse financial circumstances, with a particular focus on supporting those in service professions, first responders, and communities that have faced systemic inequities. A limited number of reduced-fee slots are available within her practice. Due to high demand, these slots are frequently filled, and a waitlist is often in place.

In addition to her private practice, Dr. Renye is actively involved in programs offering pro bono or very low-fee sessions to individuals in need. She developed the Blue Collar Wellness Initiative, designed to support the wellness of workers in service and trade industries. Currently, she is offering pro bono EMDR sessions to fire survivors of the LA fires.

Because of these commitments, as well as her work through community mental health programs, patients in her private practice typically understand that reduced-fee slots are extremely limited. For those unable to secure a spot, Dr. Renye is happy to provide referrals to lower-fee clinics in your area.

From time to time, Dr. Renye also reserves a very limited number of time-limited scholarship spaces for helping professionals experiencing temporary financial hardship. These scholarship spaces are offered at her discretion based on clinical fit, temporary financial need, and availability, and are intended to support focused treatment during a period of transition. Individuals invited to be considered for one of these scholarship spaces will still be asked to complete the financial documentation below so that the accommodation can be offered thoughtfully and fairly.

If the current fee is not feasible, a reduced fee may be available. To determine this, my office requires documentation of income in order to make a fair assessment in providing services:

  1. The first two pages of your most recent federal income tax return.

  2. Two recent pay stubs, if applicable.

  3. Please describe how your essential living expenses (such as housing, groceries, utilities, transportation, etc.) are currently funded. This may include employment income, a spouse or partner's income, support from family or a benefactor, savings, investments, trust distributions, government benefits, state or county assistance, or other financial resources.

  4. Please disclose any significant financial assets or resources not otherwise reflected in your income tax return or recent pay stubs. Examples may include investment or brokerage accounts, retirement assets available for use, trust funds, inheritances, rental income, substantial cash reserves, or other financial resources.

  5. In one to three paragraphs, please describe your desire to receive services in my practice and any significant financial obligations or financial circumstances that are not reflected in the documentation above.

  6. Based on your current financial circumstances, what fee per session would be financially sustainable for ongoing treatment? This information will be considered along with the other materials you submit in determining whether a reduced-fee space is available and appropriate.

Please send information in password protected documents to admin@wholepersonintegration.com  along with a signed version of this form (by filling out below)

Fees will be re-evaluated and adjusted monthly.

I understand and agree with this policy.
