Letting Go of Tension With Breath-Downloadable PDF

$8.00

We could all use some guidance around letting go. It is a simple, yet not easy process. Whole Person Integration is offering this in the hopes that everyone who finds their way here can have access to simple tools to let go….of control, expectations, judgement of self and others, preconceived notions. Learn a simple technique of embodiment through the breath and tense/release of the muscles.

Letting go of tension with breath is a relaxation technique that involves using deep breathing to release stress and tension from the body. Here are some steps to help you practice this technique:

  1. Find a quiet and comfortable place where you can sit or lie down.

  2. Take a deep breath in through your nose, filling your lungs with air.

  3. Hold your breath for a few seconds.

  4. Slowly exhale through your mouth, letting go of any tension or stress you may be feeling.

  5. Repeat this process several times, focusing on the sensation of the breath moving in and out of your body.

  6. As you exhale, imagine the tension and stress leaving your body with each breath.

  7. Continue breathing deeply and slowly for several minutes, or until you feel more relaxed and calm.

Remember to be patient and gentle with yourself. It may take some time to fully let go of tension, but with practice, you can develop a deeper sense of relaxation and calmness through breathwork.
